But this is nothing new, I have been getting it for over 20 years. For me, the most positive thing from the pandemic is my realization that can easily adapt. Confined at home, only limited time elsewhere with mask ? No big deal Quote
auscent Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 Pools closed so I forced myself to walk at least 5 days a week. Now hit 10k steps a day; 6 days per week. Quote
JamesAdmas Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 Weirdly lost 3kg weight.😲 But prob because watched a lot what i was eating.😊 But now comes a realisation it might not be all fat but muscle mass too.😒 Quote

FlippantMount Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 Not just one thing for me. I rediscovered my old hobbies, got the peace and quiet. The air smells better with less cars and get to see grass grow tall and green. Loved running past them as they reminded me of nature claiming back the land. gc0805 1 Quote

yy02 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Best thing happened to me during lockdown is health. No more commute in crowded train and bus, cook at home, run more than usual, better sleep pattern. I always had problem catching cold in morning. It is gone ever since I started working from home. It also helps that people are wearing mask, less chance to catch cold bugs in public. Theguyingreen and Steve5380 2 Quote
Guest Too Much of a good thing Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Everything look so organised. No madness, no rush. All appointment go by booking system which created plenty of space and less crowded environment. Can never get enough. Hawker table all spaced out, users have less nightmare sitting with strangers. People are spitting less due to mask and using public toilet is more bearable because of the mask wearing. Quote
SGFitness Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Resting at home, not needing to commute to work. Spending more time with family, learning new recipes be it cooking/baking. Basically, time slowed down in this rat race which is much appreciated. Ray Nguyen, Heartless and markang 3 Quote

It's quite stressful to keep the conversation in the early days, but i didn't rush out, bit by bit, day by day, my conversation became more natural Quote

InBangkok Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 I finally got down to writing books I have been thinking about for years. Competed two and am now editing the second. Hope to get started on a third next month. Still no vaccines for the general public in Bangkok but I believe we should have access to them by August. Thereafter I'll take a break from writing for at least 5 years 😀 Quote
