I suspect it cause my skin to look less supple and shiney.  I felt like I am aging very fast constantly staring at my smart phone.  Before I have smart phone, during the nokia 2G era, I have no problem maintaining my youth and my skin color.  I look very youthful and well loved.  After having smart phone,  I felt my skin look dry and my hair started to drop more that it should.  My eye bags also started to show and now I am afraid it may affect my neck.   Is it possible not to have smart phone in the current time?  I need my youth back.  Please help me.

Hello, Nokia is which era. You had to accept that you old man now. Nothing can be done.

I still see some construction Neh carry Nokia flip phone.  Why so surprised?  Besides, old is very subjective as long as it does not show on the skin permanently.

Too focusing on hand phone may cause health problem.

If you want to look more youthful, can be done.

The first thing to do is PUT AWAY YOUR HP.

Use of smartphones is not known to affect the skin.  But looking at them too much may tire the eyes (cause wrinkles?) and promote bad posture.  Also they can be dangerous if they cause distraction.

They are good for timekeeping, taking pictures, videos, for protection and orientation on the road and to be reachable everywhere within cellular reach.  This is important if you drive very much, you are a CEO or a doctor, important person.  But to chat with friends, use texting and emails, surfing the internet in the MRT, etc.  cannot you leave these for the time you are home or in the office with wired devices and big monitors?

To avoid aging very fast,  besides giving your smartphone a break,  you could search the internet with your computer to see what best treatments to do to your face, what best foods to eat, what best exercises to do and what precautions to take, like sufficient sleep, to look good again thanks to a healthy lifestyle.

V detrimental to the eyes.

Yet some still prefer to squint at small iPhone mini bc easier to hold n operate w one hand.

They sneer at big phones as bricks.

They value their hand's comfort over the strain on their eyes.

These fans will get eye bags before they wake up.

Apple always insisted on small size while Samsung n Xiaomi go big.

Until recently when years of eye strain slowly show up on Apple fans eyes n faces then they woke up.

Now iPhone 12 Max is the best selling iPhone in spite being most expensive.

blue light is no good for our skin and eyes ... I feel so guilty myself .. For unknowingly exposing my retina and skin to my phone’s short wavelength blue lights over many hours daily ..

Not exactly.  We were more poor than rich, and these heavy black phones were corded and kept on a desk.  There were no cellular phones in those days.

Well, stop taking selfies or photos with your phone up close. If you want to improve on your appearance, have someone stand like 5 or 8 meters away from you and if you have wide angle lens on your smartphone, use it in your photos. Your skin should significantly improve in appearance from the distance. Another option is to avoid day light or any form of lighting in your photography. the darkness will reveal less details, and so you don't have to stress out as much over your appearance.

Love.
