Guest Makena
Sometimes, u will get a schedule which allows u to work less, and people around u will notice and said "wah u so little work ah", "wah u like damn slack leh", "wah how come like so unfair sia", "wah KNN", etc. But when u got a schedule which u need to work more, and the people around u will not even take notice, or they will feel like nothing happen, or they will just ignore like as if its normal, or some sarcastics ones will say something like: "awww my dear, I pity u". Guest ffffffff
Do unto others what they do unto you. That's the only way they can understand.
Guest Try and see
What I can say is that what you've described happens in many, many, many workplaces, whether govt sector or private. Just that if your office has a lot of old aunties, then it will be more prevalent, because lao char bors like to compare and pass comment at everything. But in general, women compare and bitch more. Steve5380
Try very hard, through study and dedication, to attain a profession where the opinion of people about how much you work is irrelevant. Try that people say about you: "look at this guy, he makes so much money yet he works so little", and this is a badge of honor. To just coast to make it through high school and then get employed in an office moving papers, should not be enough of a goal.

auscent
Keep a mental buffer to avoid too much of what they say affecting you.
