Serious question: What happens to twinks as they get older?

I think you think too much.

Firstly, twinks don't get the worst, based on my years of observations, those effeminate, transgender, transsexual, bisexuals & chubs, are those that gets the most discrimination in the LGBT. I am not even going to talk about ethnics, regions and race.

 

In most hookup apps, you will see lots of msg on, No chub, no fem, (trans), no old, no.,..this....no that...prefer this,...prefers that...etc.

 

You only gets rejections when the type you like are the muscular who prefers muscular or those who prefers older and those who don't want young, slim, twinks.

So, don't think that you had it worst as there are others who may have it worst than you. 

 

Anyway, you are still young, after many, many, many more rejections, lots of hit, missed, hit, missed, will you find someone that will like you for who you are and settle down with someone more permanent.

 

But then, even after all the external looks gets all the checks, you might still fail, because attitudes determines how long you guys can be together.

 

It's all about finding the right match. Exterior looks and the compatibility of values and needs.

If you are a twink, you have been blessed from birth.  You have a predisposition to be slim.  But slim does not need to be weak.  Embrace with enthusiasm the habit of working out,  not only with aerobics but very importantly with weight lifting.  Think of weight lifting as a way to gain STRENGTH,  not so much size.    Take care of your digestive system by eating moderately and healthy,  never trying to pig out to gain size. If you are strong, you don't need to become a muscle mass.  If you don't like to feel vulnerable,  learn a martial art,  one that is not very destructive.

 

You should age into a man who is HANDSOME.   Not big but strong.  Kind but not vulnerable.

Men with a paunch or beer belly is a common sight on the streets. Men in the range of 20s and above. 
 

But I always notice a group of elderly men who cut a lean figure. They may not be healthy or fit. In fact some of them are frail and hunched. Yet they don’t sport a paunch. They are a proof that big belly is not nature’s endowment.

 

Big belly is simply our own doing. Too much rich and unhealthy food is the number one and main reason. Exercise is not the key cos there are people who exercise but still have bellies and there are those who don’t exercise but don’t have bellies. Those elderly men I see are not the fit sporty type.    Not asking anyone not to exercise, but just saying the link between exercise and belly size is not as strong as that between diet and belly size. 
 

I had thought that I would put on weight and a belly as I age. But that never happened. A grab driver even thought I was a teenager but that’s late at night so he could only see my twink figure. The only reason is I am a vegetarian and I eat mostly natural whole food (and not mock stuff). I don’t exercise at all.

I have a similar experience, and similar awareness.  Exercise is not the remedy for obesity,  good and smart nutrition is.

 

Medical science is discovering more and more the influence of metabolism in our figure.  Ketogenic effects from the food we eat and the bacteria in our gut are being investigated and seem to be an increasingly factor in our health.   It is worth to learn about these recent discoveries, the role of insulin, and adjust our diet accordingly.  I am not yet fully vegetarian but my metabolism is in top shape.  Getting old but no belly.  Standing vertical and looking down we should be able to see our cock,  ha ha.

It's been my experience that a lot of guys who were naturally fit in their youth tend to let their bodies go as they age. I suppose this also applies to twinks who are naturally lean and slim. Unless you tend to have a high metabolism, you will either be skinny fat or just have a Dad bod. Similarly, those guys who were fat can find themselves getting fitter and muscular later on in their adult years. I mean, I look at my friends at NS and all the fit guys are now all fatsos while the fat guys are doing much better. Long story short, we all get old, but it's up to you to decide what sort of body you want to have.

I think Staying in shape by doing regular exercises will be the best idea to age well. As you grow old ur metabolism slows down, so you need to exercise.  I do know of friends(twinks) way older than me, still maintaining their body figure.

did you read the question at the top of the thread or did you decide to just copy paste your usual answers about ageing and how you are doing it?

 

Cold hard fact is that in terms of gay market, old twinks are pretty low in the hierarchy of what is desired in general.

You have never seen an older man who still looks boyish, youthful, with slim body?  

 

Our looks also reflect our spirits,  and this spirit can remain boyish and youthful. We can still have "the child in us" inside.  And if you are a young twink today, you have plenty of time to become fit, toned, muscular.  This is in reach of every skinny boy, given time.  In 20 years you can change your body, and still be young.

correct. A twink without the youth can never compete with a younger model. The same is not true for hunks, where some actively seek older daddy muscle types.
