41c 175/76 here. Just found out about this place, read thru several posts in this thread, looks interesting. I'm married and straight, but I've always been interested in exploring. Wife happens to be out of town for 2-3 days, so I might drop by one evening after work. Totally clueless about what to expect - any recommendations?

I'm back. I reached slightly before 6pm, but didn't stay past 7pm. Let's just say that I was never a clubber to begin with. I was disoriented by the dimly-lit surroundings and the blaring noise that was supposed to pass off as music. I tried exploring the Naked Maze on 4F, but it was so dark in the maze that it took all my energy just to make sure I didn't walk into a wall or collide head-first with someone. I spent a lot of time trying to get my bearings, gave up halfway through, and sat at the entrance of a room with a small light to recuperate.

 

Going through that ordeal wouldn't have been so bad if at least I was able to engage in some action. Big fat nadir. In my opinion, with limited cruising and club experience, SG is not a place for "cold calls" for regular folks [or maybe that era has died out]. Its best to chatup in apps and hookup there, else its an empty handed return. However I agree with you about dim lights and blaring music. Last time i went to a sauna i already had some one with me but these effects were quite a dampener, that it was difficult to go the whole hog way. So the clubs are not my cup of T.
