singalion Posted January 8, 2025 Posted January 8, 2025 According to the experts it is better to use hypnosis only in the cases where it is really required. Hypnosis is real. People with certain traumas it can help to reveal what the real source is. In other cases, like crime, some victims in particular of sexual assault may have due to the shock situation suppress certain evidence but during a hypnosis an psychologist can make such evidence be revealed or spoken about during the hypnosis session. But as said I would leave hypnosis to medical cases or any cases where it makes sense and not something of every day. Probably you would need also a trained psychologist. Steve5380 1 Quote

Yes, I have doubt about hypnosis that portrayed on TV. we called this trainer to do hipnosis in front of us and my friend got hypnotized during training. Hypnosis should be reserved for therapeutic and eventually criminal cases. Our psyche is too delicate and important to be fooled with. We should cultivate sufficient mental toughness to block any attempt to be involuntarily hypnotized. However, in a safe environment we should not deprive us from feeling "hypnotized" by positive emotions from beauty, love, happiness, etc. Quote
