singalion
There are actually some snacks that are healthier than potato chips, crackers, keropok (fish-shrimp crackers), Muesli bars, Mars etc Take Jackfruit chips or other fruits that are made through same processing. But take care that you buy those that are not laced with sugar/ honey or artificial sugars. Vietnam is known for many brands of those dried fruits (without sugar added). Recently, the products from Vietnam got cheaper here in Singapore. If you like it sweet: Dates are an alternative! Note that nutritionists recommend not to eat bananas before bed time due to rise in blood sugar.
