Staff meal

 

East meet West method of cooking:

 

Microwave the kway teow for 2 mins, take it out from microwave, pull the cold, sticky & oily kway teow apart.

 

Marinate the kway teow with heavy black soy sauce, light soy sauce, chicken powder, salt & pepper.

 

Get a stock pot, throw in 2 blocks of President butter. Melt butter but DON'T BURN the butter. Once melted, throw in ur kway teow, stirred in chopped garlic, dry cut Chinese chili.

 

Garnished hor fun with deep fried shallots, chives & coriander.

 

In a sautéed pan, heat up olive oil, add in seafood like slice fish, prawns & calamari rings, sautéed, season, tossed into the hor fun. Mixed well.

 

In another soup pot, add water & oyster sauce mixed well. Once boiled, stirred in corn starch slowly till sauce thicken, stirred in beaten egg white &  beaten egg yolk separately. Season to taste for oyster sauce & egg gravy.

 

Add coriander into the finished gravy.

I used to cook simple stuffs for myself when I was staying alone. No specific recipes.

 

I tried to make :

 

Breakfast :

- Pancakes

- Steamed Buns (Failed!)

- Fish Porridge (Got a secret to cook it fast - If you want to know, PM me. Hahah)

- Tamago

 

Lunch / Dinner :

- Pan-fried Salmon

- Baked Potato

- Egg Fried Rice

- Herbal Soup

- Sushi Roll

- Korean Grilled Squid

 

That's all I could recall for now. It was fun while it lasted.
