You were in grey swim trunks (not too sure, couldn’t see clearly). I was in a navy blue round neck shirt and baggy pants. I didn’t go in the pool, just sat at the pool side to enjoy the vibes and night views before closing. Half of the pool was reserved for training, the other half open to public. You swam a few lap and we exchanged a few glances. Then you kept swimming, while I walked around and sat back down. Just wanted to share a story of missed connection which turn out miraculously well for me later on. A few years ago, while I was working out at the FF gym, this guy who was staying in the same condo as me came up to me to say “Hi” and that he knew we were actually neighbours and ask me how often I come to the gym and etc etc. I’m someone who is very slow to warm up to people and then he approach me very suddenly like that, so I kind of do not know how to react and just give a lot of one to two words answers. Later in the day, I think to myself “Is he gay and trying to hit on me” or maybe he was just being friendly as our condo just TOP a few months before and I thought that maybe he was really just being friendly as a neighbour. 
I shrugged it off, thinking that since he stayed in the same condo as me and he always work out at FF, maybe I might still bump into him one day.

I never saw him again since that day, whether at the gym or in the condo. This went on a few years and it’s been in my mind for a really long time. 
Just about a week ago, I decided to try Tinder and guess what? He was in there and he swipe right. I was really excited to see him too and also swipe right and we became a match and then we chatted and meet up. 
I ask him was he really trying to hit on me a few years back in the gym, he said he did but I was aloof and gave him an “uninterested” vibe. 
Now we got connected after the missed connection a few years ago, I felt that the events that took place a week ago was the best thing that ever happened to me.
