doncoin Posted January 24, 2025 Posted January 24, 2025 @wksiao11 I totally understand your concern. Generally, oral sex is has a much lower risk compared to anal sex. However, your level of risks/exposure increases if you engage in oral sex with someone who is infected. So for your peace of mind, you should avoid any form of sex unless the person provides you with a clearance letter from the doctor. Starwal 1 Quote Love.
Eli Posted November 12, 2025 Posted November 12, 2025 Got on prep (on demand) + doxy pep recently and is getting tested every 3 months. (HIV+STD+Liver) I go to a private clinic and every visit cost around the range of 400-500. Obviously, I am aware that DSC would definitely be a cheaper option. But I was wondering how much cheaper could it really be? 300-400 range? I have been to DSC ages ago for a hiv test and the longgggg wait is really painful. (I have got no kakis to accompany me unfortunately). That’s one of the main reason why I have been going to private clinics instead. Does anyone know if the queuing is DSC is still as long still? Or if you know of any other cheaper private clinics for these prep routine test, can share pleaseeee? Thank you! Appreciate your kind assistance to a fellow poor gay man 🫶 Quote

Why? Posted November 14, 2025 Posted November 14, 2025 I genuinely feel bad for those of you who have to take tests and meds on a regular basis. Cost is another important consideration, not just in terms of money. You're not at fault. Sex is completely irresistible and frequently results in a brief period of pleasure that elevates you to the ninth level of heaven, followed by a level of anxiety and paranoia that lasts far longer than the climax in bed, even with meticulous protections in place. As a gay man, I therefore refused to accept such a fate. I am a born-again virgin who has not had sex for 20 years. I enjoy other things, such as managing my finances and loving my body even more. Don't get me wrong, I still love sex, even just thinking about it and I'm frequently tempted by attractive people who stalked me about. However, I declined to go down a path that would be more detrimental than beneficial. The stalkers will be completely disappointed because I went home, watched porn, and jerked off in the shower and felt quite happy about it. I currently lead that kind of life since, as you get older, you could not be aware of the adverse consequences of drugs/meds that could completely upend your life much sooner than you had anticipated. Your decision, will ulimately change the course of your senior life and those whom you have sex today, will also look quite scary and different by then. The above is just a thought about being gay and life. Unionbic 1 Quote
