While you got peeped from outside while you were in the cubicle, I have seen people hiding inside the cubicle and peeping what’s happening at the open shower area. 
I don’t know the purpose behind having both cube and open area. It’s either you all cubicles 👎or all open shower. 😈😝

Isn't it open concept, free show for all? You do something in the open area then can't blame people who go with an agenda to openly watch or participate.

 

The open shower concept is to accommodate more shower points for the convenience of users since space limits individual cubicles. Having some cubicles ensures privacy and modesty which some genuine users appreciate.

 

What I don't get though, is why the doors are so tiny they hardly cover anything. Could be to deter people from hanky panky, but to my knowledge, it's been designed that way right from the start.

The door is big enough to cover one’s modesty yet small enough to hide an extra pair of legs inside. To deter hanky panky or not…. I’m unsure. I have seen w my own eyes two guys walking into the same cubicle openly w others showering outside and they were helping each other to shower inside the cubicle.

Yes.. I was surprise to see him too.. you are right.. most of the time are uncles.. today my lucky day.. do try the toilet too as I met him in the toilet instead of the shower room… good luck to all..

Just wanted to share my experience at the Decathlon Kallang showers. I know the reputation this spot has, but things went too far during my last visit. I run there every evening and use the showers for few minutes just to wash off sweat ( I dun shower) and clean my shoe soles before driving home.

On a recent occasion, a few guys were openly hooking up. Instead of keeping it private, they gave me dirty looks for just using the facility. One guy even had the audacity to express his displeasure at my presence. Let me make this clear: I am not there to cock-block you, and I have zero interest in what you are doing. I am there genuinely to wash up. If I wanted to be nasty, I could have easily reported your behavior. Please show some respect for others who just want to use the public amenities for their intended purpose.

Exactly ... Tell me about it. Some of the posts in the forum also give me the impression that cruisers see others who innocently walk into their adventures as imposing.

 

Some people can be rather entitled.

If I were you, I would have just reported it. Some of us genuinely need a shower after running or sports activities before dinner or heading out somewhere. These type of people just gives the community a bad rep.
