juicyass Posted July 27 Posted July 27 I am on 12-week refeeding phase and entering week 9 now. Weight training has been quite intense and numbers are slowly going up. All macros and calories are checked. But it eventually reaches my mental toll. Having unrestful sleep, feeling lethargic, going to gym feeling unmotivated. This is the time when I know I needed a deloading week before I completely burn out. Do you always take deloading week on every 4th week strategically or you take it when you know you needed it? radiusulnar Posted July 27 Posted July 27 I deload after a strength focused mesocycle. So it's based on the schedule. But if I feel unrecovered, I will dial it down even during the strength mesocycle juicyass and sum1outhere_03 2 Quote

I cut my workout volume short from 3 sets to 2 sets in each exercise. Cardio down to 10 min, then left and got back home and nap. Quote

Do you always take deloading week on every 4th week strategically or you take it when you know you needed it? Sounds like burnout from working out. For me now is on a need basis. Like if I don't feel like working out at all from the symptoms you mentioned, I'd take 1 week break, just to eat whatever I like within my maintenance calories. Not so often now that I'm training on my own. PS Bro maybe you need to context your title else people will troll LOL Edited July 31 by sum1outhere_03 Quote Will you be my valentine's?
