location: the nearer to Kallang, the better. But other location is ok also as long not too far east/west and near public transport.

There are also direct bus to Orchard and Bugis(40-45mins). 
I'm the landlord and currently this property only staying 3 person, 1 dog(shiba) and 3 rabbits... 
I'm not a fussy owner and knowing renting a room/house outside is not easy.

people advertised their rooms for rent here.. when a guy like me needs a room, msg them.. those jokers will only see the msg & never reply..

 

BUT when i go carousel, gumtree, and any other property apps & i search for the same neighborhood that i want to reside in, same ads, the same cunts & jokers who places the ads, contact number everything, this time, they are willing to communicate..

 

eh... people.. i used to stay in sembawang before, common room, aircon, wifi, can cook, can do laundry anytime the unit is on the 3rd level facing the road.. cost me S$500 monthly till the landlord decided to do some monkey ass stunt & now is in changi prison.. gas, electrical, water supply all cut off..

 

and people.. i really dun understand..when u rent out ur common bedroom, yes, ur blk right next to wisteria.. not the mrt.. common room can cost a person renting a common room on the 2nd floor for S$850.00!!?? master room S$1100??!! This is daylight robbery!!!

 

The prices can be compared to the prices of the room located smack right in the heart of chinatown, people park complex, top flr.. S$800.00 a month as a package deal & no owner staying in the apartment somemore.. as well as kim tian road, top floor . no owner staying in also, package deal.. S$800 a month

 

for e.g. inside fb, the person advertised the common room at a price of S$700.00 for only female tenants.. then the same ad, the same place, but on carousel, that joker advertised as all genders are welcome at S$600.00.. when i called, that person say, i am only looking for females.. then please fucking change ur ads, morons!!

 

if you stay on top of wisteria mall, inside the condo.. yes, i admit, right pricing for all the facilities..

 

And if ur room or unit has been taken, please kindly remove the ad.. u don't need ur parents to come telling u what to do right.. i wonder where the common senses of these folks are..

 

some owners.. please leh.. cannot cook, no visitors allow, no aircon, laundry once a week.. just because yishun area, common room price range automatically becomes S$600 - S$850!!?? not even anywhere near mrt somemore..

 

there was even one owner i met, kitchen is in bad shape, no washing machine, no cooking allow, aircon has not been used for decades.. dust all over it.. the common room is like a spare store room.. charges me for S$600.00 .. no way!!

 

i am paying right now S$700 a month, i can still cook instant noodles & aircon for 8 hrs a day, wifi thru out 24/7, 365 days, and i can do laundry anytime.. the room i am in is 1.5 times bigger than the size of any current bto flat common room.

 

i am paying for the QUALITY of the room:

 

- the kinda of bed i get to sleep on
- the good amount of space i get to move about in the room
- worth the kinda of money i spend on
- the quietness of the surroundings
- wifi 24/7
- the hygiene & cleanliness of the owner apartment housekeeping is extremely important to me!!!
- able for me to cook even a single packet of instant noodle
- able to allow me to do laundry 24/7 (24hrs laundromat)
- coffeeshop downstairs
- near amenities
- able to use the bathroom to myself
- convenience of the location
- walking distant to the mrt
- BUT I'LL NOT LOOK AFTER UR CAT & DOG for u.

 

till then.. i'll not go for a common room from hell & a drama king & queen for a landlord / landlady..
