I think most people go through the same type of changes in sexual behaviour. To be clear, "top" and "bottom" really just mean a preference for being the insertive or the receptive partner in anal penetration. It does NOT necessarily align with dominance/submission or masculinity/femininity. It's just a stereotype (or an archetype) that a top is dominant and masculine while a bottom is submissive and feminine; there are exceptions.
