Rather, so overwhelmed with work and forgotten about the whole V Day thingy, so I overlooked dinner reservations. The night before, I asked him if he's to think of his favourite food immediately, what would come to mind. (Good LORD he named a hawker food!)Next evening, picked him up, and drove him to Tanjong Beach, Sentosa. I opened the trunk with his favourite hawker fare, and the picnic mat, and there we had a quiet night by the rather isolated end of the beach. Finished off the night with drinks at the bar, and indeed a memorable affair.Bottomline, be creative... and that reminds me that I have yet to make a reservation for this year... Ciao! I recently read from the newspaper (cannot remember which paper) about some non-attached women in Singapore are hiring "boyfriends" to attend gatherings, family dinner, special alumni occasions etc. These "boyfriends" make them look and feel "better" in front of their friends and family.Maybe we can hire "boyfriends" for the Valentine Day too ... :oops: Anyone want to apply for the position of "professional boyfriend" ? If you think that your lover & love relationship not worth you to spend just alittle, i have nothing to say. Not only those still in courtship then will try to impress their partner cos Aj in local can't get married, but we treasure them, some people after 5 or 10 years still celebrate every Valentine's Day. Some people will say if both truely love each other, everyday is Valentine's Day. I agree but don't you think that if daily is, Valentine's Day should be the day more special?Valentine's Day is not a day that you need to spend & throw alot of money to make him happy ( unless he is material guy ), but to show him that you really appreacitae what he have done for you.
