Guest Guest Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Just like a thread for guys to share what was the last thing that make you happy. That little family gathering for the family and concern shown.
gz69 Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Just being alive and being healthy is already enough. Of course it does not come about by luck only. Being debt free, not having relationship problems, being active, etc. all require effort. Chub71 1
Chub71 Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Nice thread...for me its admiring a good piece of art that I can own, a good tennis game and great grouping for archery.
DriveMe Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Being able to talk to someone is good enough for me.
Blissfull Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Being able to see the keyboard and typing on it without difficulties to post this. "Well, I didn't know it would come to this but that's what happens when you're on your own."

jtsc Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 A bit of time where I don't have to think too much and do nothing.
Guest imseeker Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 (edited) When I do things for people and they appreciate it.This reminds me of last Sunday.I was at a supermarket buying bread, when this old man came up to me and asked me what happened to the Bonjour bread offer (buy milk or pandan and get a free recyclable bag worth $1.20). I told him there was no more milk or pandan Bonjour bread on the shelf. He said unfortunately he had only $1.50 so he could not buy any bread. I fished out from my coin pouch an extra 20 cents and gave it to him, so that he could buy the milk bread of another brand. At that moment I felt both happy and sad. Happy that I did something for someone (no matter how small), sad that I didn't do more for him (like sparing him an additional $2 so he could buy bread another day), sad that he was in such a situation.Anyway, this thread is supposed to be about the little things that make you happy, so back to the topic....... Anyway, this thread is supposed to be about the little things that make you happy, so back to the topic.......Its so kind of you. This reminds me the time I saw one old man wandering on his stick on the street in the rain in my home country to sell some cakes which were the source of money for his daily life, and I bought all of them and just told him to go home immediately. I almost cried when seeing him step-by-step-ing on his way home. Poor people!!! Dun know why some young men can waste and throw their money into stupid things although thats the money from their parents. They had better do something more significant and meaningful in their lifetimes!!!
Guest Marad44 Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 ... sell some cakes which were the source of money for his daily life, and I bought all of them and just told him to go home immediately... Touching. Who said there are no angels in disguise?
greysuperhero Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 I was reading the forum post on 'what you love about your BF' yesterday.Someone mentioned that love also comes in the form of friendships - true friendships that stand the trials of time and hardship.Made me thankful and for the friends I have beside me. They are people I can confide in without being discriminated against.

Guest Marad44 Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 (edited) When I see him curled up asleep by the ATM, I rush home and grab the Purina Fansy Feast cat food I got for him at IMM. He wakes from his hunger at the sound of the pellets and runs up to me. The haunting meow plays in my ears every time I wonder about him - the neighborhood stray cat below...
