It's very Tanya-ish but doesn't 引起共鸣 It was ruined the moment MCS decided to use it in Dream Makers, in those portions involving Zoe Tay as the jilted third party - too maudlin MCS has a habit of using songs popularised in other movies/dramas in their own productions.
abang Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Comparing the styles of Stephanie and Tanya is like comparing apples and oranges.Steph appeals more to the late teens and early 20s whereas Tanya is definitely for the more matured/seasoned group of listeners.Both have their merits and strength. I like Steph for her unique voice - she uses the air somewhere between nasally and from the diaphragm whereas Tanya is unique in her own ways. Amidst the influx of foreigners into the country, we feel that we're slowly losing our national identity. The above video struck me deep and I felt overwhelmed with emotions. If we show this video to the new citizens who're not originally from Singapore, how many of them can resonate with how I feel? What can they say about the best memories that this very country has given them? Happy (early) birthday Singapore.

I am the less than 65 years ago, my family"s history was with china, now, all of us do not have any relationship with china. I am sure you and most of Singaporeans have similar history.Happy (early) birthday Singapore.
