applepie
Any recommendations for good Kong Bak Bao takeaway? My folks love to have this once in a while and I used to buy for them from Beng Hiang Resturant at Amoy Street. They prefer to eat at home with some iceberg lettuce (self supply) sandwiched in the buns. But seems like these days the taste and quality had slipped - the sauce is too runny and the meat is always too fat. willywanker
Kung Bak Bao is really the best of baos, a close second to salted egg yolk custard baos, in my opinion. Where's the west lake one? And what's the shop name?
abang
I usually take my lunch at the West Lake, OG People's Park. The food isnt that great but it is easy to get a seat and the stewed pork buns, delicious.

westcoastboy77
Really? I thought the meat was tender and moist and not overtly oily and loved the buns!
Baloo
Make your own kong bak... nit difficult... then you can control the meat, thickness of the sauce, how tender, how salty, etc...
