While they seem to know some gays have strong fantasies on straight guys like them, the more experienced therapists were even “teaching” the junior one some tactics to “win the hearts” of those rich and lonely Da Ge, to willingly give them those perks and spend money on them continuously. I was also literally rolling my eyes while facing down during my massage session. 😂

 

Apparently there are some rich customers who willingly give out a lot to those straight masseurs to show their “appreciation”. No issue at all. Also understand not an easy job for those straight masseurs to give extra to earn a living. However, my feeling is this may kind of setting a much higher standard for tips and perks nowadays, In a way those masseurs seem to have bigger appetite on earning easy pink money, while no improvement on quality and services than before. Think they have slight price increase on massage services not too long ago.

 

Recently, I was disturbed to witness unhygienic practices when my masseur didn’t change the towel I laid on from my session, meaning will be reused for the next customer. After questioning him and saying my sweat or body odour might have stained the towel, he reluctantly replaced it with “not so happy” facial expression 😒

 

If their hygiene and service standards don’t improve, I might stop patronising when my package is finished.

yea i heard the more experienced therapist did ask the junior therapist who was serving me， “有没有手势?" when i was changing back to my own clothing. quite disrespectful though i feel.

I was in ZF too 2 weeks ago. I had the same experience. I booked AL for the 90 massage, in the mid of massage, he seem like complained to me that My first time went to him I gave him $50 tips, but my second times, I only give $15, he don't feel happy about it. I was like.... what???? I never tip any massager for more than $20. Are you trying to give a wrong example to hint to me that this times I should give you a higher tips? And frankly speaking, the massage quality he gave is getting worse, plus the bed towel is kinda smelly, so I talk to myself, I will never want to go back to that place again.....

yea the bed towel is really stinky and AL like getting very annoying. i also keep thinking twice whether to go whenever im near there.

Just went today to NL Chijmes as the location works best for me.

 

I felt today the service from the reception wasn't as good as previous. 

 

As it was my first in a long time going NL, I just asked for a male therapist. Got assigned CN thin uncle with spec. He doesn't have much strength and the technique was a little off points, feels like me and my classmates when we were still in massage school. 

Apart from that there was also no interesting technique also...

 

While I had a nap at home after the session, I didn't feel recuperated. Kinda felt wasted my time.

 

Will be posting another experience in the Penang massage thread. And you will understand my thoughts.

so surprise that not all NL massu are good. I tot they were selected before they apply their job there. or may be NL just based on certificate that they have.

I think the guy has some basics but is either not willing to work hard early in the day, hadn't eaten or just not interested in the customer`s wellness.

Saw Jxxxs who used to work at WL now working at Ah Loy Foot Reflexology. (Just opposite to WL, few shops away from Foot Artisan). 3 new faces (2 Burmese, 1 Malaysian) at WL now who couldn’t be found from their online booking. . One Burmese looks quite strong and with nice “package”. ☺️ Will check him out one day.

Went to try LXXK at Chijmes. Was surprised he could still remember me as well my preference, though not been visiting him for 1.5 year. He moved back from MBS Premium Outlet as he said most customers there are tourists or those winning in Casino with certain “attitude” 😂

 

I went for 90 mins body oil, as always. (Sometime half dry, half oil). He seems to have improved his strokes on oil massage, compared to before. Also spending more time on proper massage this time to relax my muscles, before ending with my preferred massage strokes.

Talked to frontdesk @ NL MBS Premium outlet before. They told me because it’s located at Premium Location, so demand more “premium” pricing. Deco and ambience could also be better.. etc.

 

For me, standard is good enough and I won’t pay like $20-30 more for same service due to their premium locations or slightly better ambience.

Was at NL Chijmes just now. 

Got a relaxing massage by a tall slim guy with gold short hair (didn't catch his name so don't ask me).

He uses very standard strokes and because he is tall, his one stroke is longer than normal, so I felt very relaxed. His hand is big, not warm but effective. I think he has executed basics well.

I also like his elbow strokes. They are on the point and felt sensual at times as he bent down to glide over the whole back.

Hope can try him again!

Went back last night as I still have few more sessions with them. Bought package (Buy 13 Get 1 Free) early this year when they had price increase. Tips  $30 initially. 

As shared in my previous posts, after few sessions with him, he started to talked about (few times) tips given by his other customers $50 or more, gifts etc… I felt a bit “pai seh” if I gave below his “standard” and adjusted to $50 tips since then.

 

As shared also during my last session when encountered with his unhygienic practice of not changing used bed towel, I was not happy with such service (considered myself as regular), I confronted him and gave $30 tips that day instead of $50. 

Last night the session with him, his attitude has changed totally. He used to greet, but last night was like in “blackface” and his attitude was like really cold throughout the session. Massage also not as good as before. I felt really “尴尬” awkward even during the massage session and wished that the time passed faster. Such a weird ambience 😂 Could not really enjoy. 

When I was in the toilet after the session, I could hear him complained to others in their private language that tips been reduced from “5 drops to 3 drops” (their language). 

Though still have few more sessions remaining for my package, will stop going for few months for now.

That is horrible. They compare tips within themselves. And also, the hygien is not improved after so many complaint. May be you should try to book other masseur next time to quickly finish your package with them. hahaha

I booked LXXK for 2 hours. His palm big and warm palm is still something that I preferred . Quality massage eased my tiredness after a day work. The only complaint is the 2-hour massage cost $150 now. Anyone know how to join their member to get better benefits?

Purchase their $500 or $1000 membership package (with some free gifts) to become a member. Download NL apps, claims points everytime you use their massage service. Accumulated points could be used for redemption of massage service (or ginger tea) in the future.

Yeah sounds damn horrible. Their massage also not say fantastic and we smell horrible after the massage. I stopped patronising them.

Oh they sell package? I was told they dont sell package but have a loyalty program (which you have to ask otherwise they wont tell you)... visit 13 times, Free 1 time.

 

Anyway, I stopped going since last year. Like many said, hygiene is horrible... towels used were wet/moist. Give that black face (most of the staffs) and talked openly.

 

Wonder if the boss is aware of all these!
