Instrumental Music

I'll admit the last thing I expected from a movie about robots from outer space was...a beautiful soundtrack.

But this track with its accompanying scene was pretty wonderful to experience in the cinema, though the dialogue in the scene could have been muted further.

If you like peaceful/calming/soothing music and haven't listened to this...do it now. =)

The composer was inspired by the nightingale birdsong to write this piece.

I don't really like the show, but there's no denying its opening title sequence/music is ...pretty nice. Nice enough to draw me in to watch a few episodes. :P

Speaking of TV shows, this is easily one of my favourite instrumentals from one (edit: pasted the wrong link earlier).:

Here's the other vid which I wrongly copy-pasted, though I like it too:

Hey..that's cheating. It has clear vocals. LOL.

But my favourite version of Terra's theme has to be the instrumental version from Dissidia, although it's only half of the entire theme. :(

And this remix a close second:

The following video is an ad for Canon in D, regardless what the title says. :P The build-up is just awesome!

And a humorous rant against Canon in D:

Por Una Cabeza...2 versions. There's so much passion in this piece.

The first is by famous Itzhak Perlman. Music starts at 1:44.

Never loved violin as much until Itzhak.

and the modern version by Nicola Benedetti.

After all, tomorrow is another day. ~ S O'Hara

Seems like there are lots of recommendations for pieces including violins so no harm adding another one right? ;)

Recently heard the title track for Phantom of the Opera (yeah, took me long enough) and discovered this amazing instrumental cover by Lindsey Stirling that fuses the beautiful sounds of violin with rock that lends a modern touch to this classic.

Edit: The embedding doesn't seem to work so I put up the link instead.
