The entrance is right in front.Entrance is RM23, they'll give you a small towel to uhh.. cover? There's two sauna unit fit 4 person max each, one steam room, and one air conditioned dark room. A space to smoke and watch TV (lol) too. A big improvement from its older location, a lot more space. But it's nothing compared to the ones in KL. Been there a few times, better crowd during Friday - Sunday night. No theme, no foam party whatsoever, this is nothing like what you would normally see in KL. There's songs and TV playing all the time tho. A few exhaust fan near smoking area for you to chill.Ipoh is a relatively quiet town, so for a sauna like this to even exist and survive till now, I think it's quite a feat on its own already. Very few young guys if that's what you're looking for, most of them head to college/uni after SPM/Form 6, better luck when it's during semester break then you might spot a few. Even the use of Grindr and Jackd isn't very widespread around here.The people are quite polite if you don't like/decline they won't try and jump on you. The way to bring that place up? The cups were all over the place most of the time.-Even an event like swimwear night, no underwear night sounds fine. Add variation - no cost coming from your side.- A magazine corner at the TV area, Men's Health and all that.-A more engaged/better maintained FB page maybe? You get a range from 25+ to 40s, rare occasion you find someone well beyond 50.Steam room and dark air con room are separated from the main area. You can't really see shit in those room, only make out the shadow. There wasn't any cabin to say, but there's numerous empty stalls with door that kinda satisfy if you want some privacy. Quite a number of partitioned units near the shower area too, but the wall aren't too high, not up to the ceiling. Anyone persistent enough can just climb up and sneak a peek.Then again, I wouldn't really mind. I'd love to put up a show or to know that there's someone getting hard watching. Heheheh. So I visited El Fondo sauna. Quite easy to find. It was a Saturday evening. I counted about 30 guys. It was easy, you have to leave your shoes on a rack next to the entrance. RM23 for entrance. There were a mixture of guys. Malays, Indians and Chinese evenly represented. Everything is on one floor. 2 small dry saunas. A medium size steamroom and a large badly designed darkroom. The large darkroom is triangular shaped but it lacks hidden corners or maze to enable cruising. There is one mattress on the floor in a corner and a chair. Apart from this there is a smoking corner and open showers. I guess for a small town like Ipoh this place is fantastic because it enables people to meet but still I hope the owner can be more imaginative.
