Some don't no matter how hard they try, and it may not have much to do with looks or wealth. I've seen ugly guys always having a bf every other month/year and good-looking guys who are always alone. You may meet many Ajs with great potentials but it doesn't mean you will eventually settle down with either one of them. If its not meant to be, there are practically nothing one can do to change it, even if you put in 101% of effort.
