erection day
My best holiday happened many years ago. My ex-bf sent me a ticket to London for a Xmas reunion. It's a first for me in many ways. First time experiencing winter. First time flying on a plane. First time in an 'English' country. First time seeing my bf's english home. I had many happy memories visiting all the wonderful historical museums and cathedrals and concert halls. Most of all, I really treasured the romantic moments sitting by the fire, next to a real Xmas tree opening up the presents and all. Worst holiday had to be my trip to Bandung on a leaky Garuda flight. I had water dripping on my head in midair and had to ask the air steward to change my seat. Kind of funny when I think of it now but it wasnt that funny when you had water dripping down from your forehead. And I nearly got pickpocketed by some street rascals. My bf saw it happening and shouted at them.
crazygolfer
For me, the worst holiday or overseas working trip if you lost your passport and to make its worst, in that visiting country, no Spore Embassy or Consulate are represented.I was once in Portugal on business trip for a few weeks a few years ago and found out that no Spore Embassy or Consulate in Portugal as Spore Embassy in Paris was also covering the country Portugal as well, so can't imagine if I lost the passport in Portugal, I had to travel to Paris to get temporary Travel Document and how am I going to Paris without a valid travel document? So, moral of the story, your passport is something like your 2nd soul Kept it properly when you are overseas especially when there is no Embassy or High Commission is represented. Buaya
My worst holiday got nothing to do with the place... It was my first trip to HK and my boy wanted to tag along, unwillingly... And he messed up my itinerary and spoilt my plans and the HK summer weather was not helpiong either... I was crying on the 3rd day and I was totally miserable... I told him off that I will be going back HK, with or without him!My best holiday so far... Hmm... Kind of hard to thnk of one... But I guess it is a tie between my first holiday with my first ex to KL... It was fun fun fun... Shopping like crazy and I met a good friend I made in the old BW bulletin board (who I sadly lost contact) and of course, I get to spend a few days with him... *Sigh*... Those were the days...The other good holiday was my first trip to Taipei with my partner... It was in late December and very cold and there were lots of attractive men wearing exec wear and coats and my, they were gorgeous! The food there was fantastic and eating hot pot in winter is a luxury! And of course, it is my first flight and first time being SO far away from home... And finally, at a place where I had seen so many times on TV! And I also got to see many stars and singers I only used to see on tv... Guest Guest
My BEST holiday -- I was in LA attending a seminar and my darling joined me for the entire week. After the seminar, we went to most of the amusement and theme parks. Then we flew to Las Vegas. Everyday was just eat, sightseeing, joy rides, casinos, shows, etc. Flew back to LA to do a transit in Taipei. We stopped over Taipei for another round of eating and sightseeing. It was fun but we have to go on diet and gyms for months in order to cut off those kilo's which we have put on after that trip.
Andy@Tokyo
Didnt mean to go out of point. but abt amusement parks, did anyone read the article regarding people who got stuck upside down on a roller coaster for more than an hour when a blackout occurred happened some where in the west. doncoin
My best vacation was going to Bhutan in August last year. What made it spectacular was the flight from Bangkok and on the way into Bhutan, we flew past Mount Everest, and the pilot announced it. It was the most spectacular view seeing Mt. Everest at sunrise. Bhutan itself was an amazing experience- the country , the people and the culture are just incredible. The worst vacation, none so far. Guest ryd
My best and worst holidays i got to give Vietnam..Best: Went to deep local suburb and It's really an eye opener for me and for the first time I felt really blessed of all the things I have. Sleeping on the floor mat with rats running all around, yeah it freaks me out but those are the everyday norm which the local villagers have to put up with. See how they lead thier everyday life and yet felt contented with what they had.. That's what touched me most and it's the best experience I had.Worst: The food.. I don't really eat veggie lor.. The food almost all are vege!! And I was damn happy when saw a stall selling some meat dishes untill I was told it's a dog meat.. I continue my hunger strike and drank water only...
