I need help guys some of the chemical went down my nose and down my throat. Not more than half the bottle went in but it hurts. I want to see a doctor... but poppers is an illegal substance yeah?

Try to vomit it out by sticking your finger into your throat. It's going to hurt! But if you can't do it, you better seek medical help ASAP.

Hi, please go and see a doctor today. Drink lotsa of water immediatedly to dilute the effects. What u need to treat is the burns on the nasal tract and throat. U will feel like u have a bad flu with sore throat for the next few week. Probably the doctor will give u an mc so that u can rest.

Please do not throw up... it would just make it worse, it's the same for people, or kids who drank acid, detergents and stuff like that. Vomiting will just make the liquids go through your stomach and throat again, which would again "burn" the tissues...

 

Either go see a doctor if you don't feel good or if your nose/throat feels like burning.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I've been resting and drinking lots of water, I think i've expelled most of the chemical from my body. Some damage has been done though, I feel like I have a pretty bad sore throat, my uvula's swollen, my teeth's a little yellow/corroded cuz of the acid. I hope things get back to normal in a few weeks, or hopefully days. I'm never taking poppers ever again. I'm so glad I didn't pass out or even die from it.

Never lie down when using pops.

Well so far I think i'm recovering. My throat feels much better now, able to swallow without it hurting so much. Yeah i've been drinking lots of milk. Anyone knows if any permanent damage has been done though? I've been feeling pretty low on energy and always sleepy, but maybe cuz my body's been working hard to detox the chemicals. I hope I don't get any permanent damage to my brain/respiratory system or anything!

The way you're going on and on it sounds like you drank a couple bottles of poppers.  Why so much?

Surely, a little bit of popper liquid won't kill you or give you permanent damage?  Unless you drank more than an accidental amount?  And if you did, you should go to hospital and make up a lie that you ingested an unknown liquid.  They won't be able to tell it's poppers at this point.

I swallowed some of the stuff accidentally yesterday. Its frankly quiet easy, as you become a bit clumsy. Huge mistake to take it during the intercourse!

Anyways: I drank a lot of water+milk, after getting some sleep I today feel much better. However, should I still get checked?

Remembered my fb accidentally poured quite alot of poppers into my nose eyes and throat during sex. The fun ended pretty abruptly as I had to keep blowing my nose n clear my system. Had bad irritation up in e nose or nasal area fr the next few days, it can be quite nasty this way.

Right after the accident, kept tearing and nose kept running. Don't think i'd try poppers anytime soon.

unlikely there will be any damage to your system apart from the uncomfortable stinging experience. such small amount does not cause any toxicity in anyway.

 

poppers contain mainly amyl nitrite. it is commonly used nowadays as a recreational drug in the form of inhalation. in emergency medicine, it is used commonly as the first line antidote for cyanide poisoning before sodium nitrite/vit B derivatives are available for iv infusion.

 

therefore TS does not need to worry a bit even if the stinging sensation is awful. poppers have an ultra short half-life. it typically lasts for a few minutes only. by now, all nitrites would have be metabolised leaving the stinging sensation alone.

 

so, moral of the story, don't use something you are not familiar with..

A good way to tell if a person is overdosing on poppers. Back acne.

Chemical inhalants are actually poisons to the body and it cause toxicity and internal heat to build up in the lung and as the body went through detoxification process the toxins will be purge out through the skin and boils will show up on the back and face if one overdose on these things.

Lots of rest,water,and cup to draw all these "heat" out.

I know this because my friend work as a painter before and all those chemical inhalants wreck havoc on his skin and lungs over time and the doctor told him all these are because of breathing in toxins and irritants.

Basically anyone who sniff or breathe anything funny into their body will suffer from skin disorder,headache,sore throat and cancers etc.

I don't think it works like that since certain toxic chemicals may still be absorbed into your bloodstream.
