I was in that boat. Sometimes everyone is expecting the other person to do first then he would do it. Once I was the only one who changed into a thong and then walked in my thong to put my bag at the bench. When I jumped in, another thonger followed and put his bag at the bench then jumped in. We looked at each other and smiled. There you go, sometimes it just takes the first person to do it then others will follow. I know it could be unnerving at first but you’d be glad you did later on. Normally I would survey first and the only time I would hold back is when I spotted someone familiar (a neighbour, colleague, my relative, or too many playful kids). Otherwise I don’t wait around; I just go in with my thong. Hope my experience calms your nerves a little.

Swimming sessions are 2 hours only. Pool empty most of the time. There was only one thonger, do not know if he still comes or thong is acceptable .

Wearing thong @ CW is not an issue. You can do so anytime without fear.

I think should be like most swimpool, once the time is out, they will asked you come out from he pool but allowed you to get a quick shower.

Went to PJ Sports Centre [formerly PJPalms] this afternoon just after 3.00 p.m. Just 3 people in the pool, including the lone thonger. New swim school and diving school renovating premises, but I would not be surprised if the swim school will be operated by staff of the previous swim school. Have to wait and see if they can attract more pool users.

More activity at CW since BTR under renovation, I was told by lifeguard.

 

Swimming class for teenage schoolchildren still from 3.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. on Monday and Friday.

Looks to me that it is the last session since the first 2 sessions have very few users. This is unless you have pre-arranged an encounter @ CW.
