X is more popular because the legendary, Xerneus, is the new Fairy type, so it's "cooler", and Mega Charizard X is very cool. If you are looking to get all the pokemon, you can get Y as there will be more people willing to trade with you. But this is just my personal opinion. Mega Mewtwo X is a Psychic/Fighting type which is not that very interesting IMO. I have problem understanding people who set a particular regime for each period of age. Kid: CartoonsTeenager: GamesAdult: WorkElderly: Sedentary lifestyle There are no rules stating that we are not allow to enjoy things that are not designed for a certain age group. I see grandparents skydive from a plane, kids who sacrifice their childhood to pursue their dreams and adults who feverishly collect action figures of Anime characters. I cried after watching Hayao Miyazaki's production of anime; I spent most of my time playing RPGs and I work as hard as my colleagues. As long as I'm happy, I have no reason to seek approval from others.
