Kindly advise It is rather hard to answer this question especially with the coming GE in Feb 2014. So far, the current street political protests are rather contained this time. Still, one hopes that the 2008 incident will not repeat again. Over the last few political protests, BKK is still safe. I have been here for the last week and have not witnessed any disruptions. Yes, tourism is affected but businesses go on as usual. Importantly, just avoid where the protests are.
