i just left singapore to go on a trip to malaysia to eat seafood and went to kota tinggi to see fireflies.. :)

Sounds great, can you please post your itinerary and the travel agent(s) you used (if any), in the Kota Tinggi thread?

Thinking of going to Kota Tinggi too (via boat from Changi to Pengerang and then northwards), for seafood and for fireflies too.

May stay one night...

the tour agent is transinex..

We went to do batik painting then to yee siang to do shopping for local products. yee siang nothing much to see just tau sar piah..

Lunch at Marina Seafood Restaurant @ Straits View Hotel Sdn BhdLunch at Marina Seafood Restaurant @ Straits View Hotel Sdn Bhd..( but the food sucks )

Went for shopping at jusco shopping centre terbau..

Dinner at Sengat Seafood Restaurant @ 58 Jalan Belanak Telok Sengat ( food is good, but place is ulu )

Then the fireflies @ kota tinggi, the fireflies are clustered among the bushes so at first i thought the locals placed light bulbs inside the bushes until a few fireflies flew near our boat... not bad la even if no fireflies a boat ride along the dark river at night is nice...

then back to singapore...

The cost around 68 sgd no overnight.. the agent planned the trip.. it was a company trip

eh i dunno where is the kota tinggi thread so i post here.. hopefully u find it useful :)
