AND this lovely tune from 1984 I think. Music is music and regardless of language, these are great songs, imho. Im not Malay but it kinda irritates me when a Malay sneers at Malay/Indonesian songs

To those who appreciate Indonesian and Malay songs, this would be our thread. I am Filipino but I am very blessed to experience ASEAN by living/studying/working in Indonesia, Malaysia and now Singapor

A good Malay friend was playing this song and I got so much drowned in the tempo and the the voice. According to him, it is about the plight of humans and their desire for peace.
