It is hard to tell if you have STD not until you go through a blood test. I believe your Urologist has asked all kind of question in regards to the symptoms in relating to the disease. When he said not to worry, means not to worry. Just give yourself a week or two, if you starting to have other symptoms like rashes or discharge from your penis or burning sensation during urinating, then you should go back to your urologist.  For the time being, you can buy anti-fungal cream or ointment from any pharmacy to apply on the affected area.
