Did my hotel booking with them, agoda and booking.com. so far so good.

No problem encountered just yet.

Just be mindful of their fine print before making payment. Some booking is only to secure confirmation of your booking with payment to be made on the spot. There are some which require prepayment with no refund for cancellation. And there are others which do not include those tax etc.

Just do your reading and all should be fine.

You might also want to compare hotel price using trivago.

Haven't done Expedia.

But I've used Booking.com, Agoda, Rakuten without problems before.

Yup Agoda is very conscientious. When problems arise, they refund quite promptly...have had decent responses when we travelled to Japan and the hotels had some errors in bookings. In the end, we had free emergency lodgings and Agoda also refunded! :thumb:

Hi peeps!

I am thinking of booking my flight and hotel through this website. Does anyone here have any feedback on it? I saw some unpleasant comments on their Facebook page.

I have done several bookings with Expedia. My name not correctly printed in the itinerary for a booking. It is a minor issue as the first name last name thing always a problem with airlines. Other than that, no issues. With Sky Scanner and TripAdvisor, Expedia comes up as one of the better offers for flights and hotels.

Surprised that they'd be that responsible, but good for them then! :D

Sometimes you do get better deal booking with online agency but read the T&C very carefully sometimes they strip away some conditions to make it cheaper but if you don't mind the little things it can actually save you money. There're many online travel agents out there and Expedia is one of the trustworthy ones I have used it twice with no problem.

I used it to book European airlines tickets because via agent I don't have to verify my card at the airport in Europe because I'm using my dad's.

If in doubt read the reviews of each agent and make your decision.

But if you are flying within SEA I suggest you book directly with the airline
