I am sure alot of people like sweet stuff (not all lah) especially those who have sweet tooth. What desserts you like? How about telling us so? In cheap place and in expensive place, I am sure you have different things that you would go for in different place.

I like Tiramisu. Ooh i love it so much, that when I saw one in the menu, I will definately order(at the price of eating less carbo that meal just to indulge in Tiramisu) :P

If I am a the market or coffee, I definately Ice Kachang with less syrup :P

how about you?

hmmm.... i tot there was a similar thread on cakes (okay, not desserts per se)...

my favourite now is the apple tart at ember and the trio of chocolate-espresso-orange molten cake, white chocolate parfait and orange creme brulee at le papillon; my favourite then was the lemon tart with marscapone cream at le bistrot.

i like simple things like

1) Piping hot chocolate brownie topped with ice cold Vanilla Ice cream.

2) Bread pudding with Vanilla saurce

but i still think... for the ultimate desserts.... head down to Oriental Hotel's Melt Cafe.... the choice of dessert in the buffet is Superb!

warm brownie with vanilla ice-cream. mmm... reminds me of the dessert that comes as part of set dinner from a little restaurant in Shaw that sells pasta. Long time haven't visited it. Must go there sometime again.

Sorry what is oneh oneh? Is that ondeh ondeh instead?, the Malay/ Indon/ Peranakan kueh-kueh where 'gula Melaka' is inside?

Sorry, I mean Ondeh Ondeh. The sweet green balls coat with coconut floss and inside is Gula Melaka, unless ED is talking about different thing.

Oh... it is ondeh ondeh indeed -my malay quite poor. Hard to find good stalls that sell such lovely green delights so I am in very little danger of getting fat from it. he he :D

eh... who wants to look like Paris Hilton- that anorexic cow? :D

Cow? At least they produce milk which gives us nice dessert, she is just a bitch

I always eat the Ondeh from Bangawan Solo, find it not so sweet and yet tasty. Sometime I found it selling at some malay snack stalls in Malay Coffee Shop. Nice also, but extremely sweet lor.

Please eat more chocolates. It's good for your health.

'Here's some good and bad news for chocoholics: Dark chocolate seems to lower blood pressure, but it requires an amount that is less than two Hershey's Kisses to do it, a small study suggests.

The new research from Germany adds to mounting evidence linking dark chocolate with health benefits, but it's the first to suggest that just a tiny amount may suffice.

Volunteers for the study were randomly assigned to eat just over 6 grams

Yeah, I like the small ondeh ondeh from Bengawan Solo with gula melaka inside. I think, it now costs $2.40 per box of 6 pieces.

a good bo-bo-cha-cha with real santan is hard to find these days...

with the sweet potato and yam cooked till soft, and with the right amount of red rubies - properly firm yet chewy... and shaved ice on fresh santan... and gula melaka of course... not some cheep refined sugar...

in the same vein... a good chendol...nicely cooked till softened red beans, atapchee, fresh green chendol, thick gula melaka, shaved ice on fresh santan... is so hard to finde these days...

easiest - tau suan... but even then, too much starch is yucky too... fresh yu tiao is a must...

damn... made myself drool....

The Pistachio Paste(hot) add vanilla ice cream beside Tori King.
i typically order a 黑芝麻 (hot) at a typical cantonese style dessert eating place

For bingsoo, i prefer Injeolmi or strawberry or mango
