Another old-timer capable of delivering a good hard massage only those of his bulk can, on par with James of Waterspa or Max of SpaD. He doesnt feel obliged to be nice if he doesnt fancy you, so one cant state categorically if he is at all a pleasant masseur!

 

Max of SpaD, incidentally, gets sloppier as he gets more familiar with you, a classic case of familiarity breeding contempt. This appears to be the case of most masseurs from PRC.

More often than not, the principal factor which determines how "nice" a masseur gets is how much tips he expects to get. Tipping, like it or not, breeds UGLY discrimination from the beginning of time for all services in every stratum of society!  Unfortunately, the discussion of this thorny but all-important factor will lead to insightless recriminations, resulting in futility.

Sky left because he felt that too few customers got the tacit understanding "No money, no honey!" right. No money, no honey applies universally everywhere, including Cloud Nine, where they try to suppress the problem.

If the understanding is not tacit because some people are too dense, clueless or opportunistic, there are a few ways by which the masseurs can handle the situation.

 

Some politely issue a reminder before and after, a practice many customers take great exception to, leading to violent complaints. Waterspa, previously, frowned upon this practice by its staff and so does Cloud Nine. Other masseurs, typically PRC, will treat you to a spectacular display of 变脸, a trade secret only the Chinese know! Yet others, notorious example you know who, will show discriminatory behaviour, allowing some customers to be extremely flattered by the privilege of his favour and others outraged.
