I don't wear my glasses to the onsen, though I saw one guy wearing his glasses. Since I have such bad myopia, every image of the guy is distorted to me that they look rather muscular or buff. 

 

Noticed that a lot of fit guys love to use the cold pool. Makes me wonder if some are just coming to the cold pool to relax the muscles after their workout.

The cold pool is used to reduce the swelling of the muscles after a workout.

Nowadays I find onsen quite crowded about 15-20pax from 2-6pm. Even mix of young gym fit and uncles, mostly looking for fun. Some of the uncles sport wedding bands and actively cruise and pursue the young ones.
