Mandatory to wear mask with immediate effect, even in onsen.

Kinda silly if you are in the steam room and sauna. People can suffocate. And in the pools the masks will get wet.

stupid over reach by authorities. You aren’t expected to wear a mask in the wet areas in a gym. What’s the difference?

Anyone wanna share their experience now that it’s mask on and no cafe? How’s the crowd? Is it inconvenient to switch pools and steam / sauna with masks?

Honestly I went yesterday when they asked to put on mask. I couldn’t tahan staying for long coz I was gasping for air. The steam room is already hot and with mask on I couldn’t breathe at all. Also the mask got wet and it will block the pores so no air can go through. Jialat sia.

thankfully managed to have some fun at the showers:)

I’ve been told to edit my post that is in response / question to the OP message.  So here’s my edit. Showers? You mean those between the steam room and sauna? Teddiburrrrrrr

Just normal bah for the mask, maybe just cannot dip the head too low.

Well, I would recommend wearing a disposable surgical mask instead of the reusable cloth one, because it's easier to breathe, and there's an outer waterproof layer as well.

If you bring into steam room, even if you take it out, wouldn’t it get wet anyway?

Wonder how this will affect Yunomori business…it’s so sad for everyone if it does.

I actually wear it in steam room haha. Well it does get a little damp, but if you want to "dry" it, you can go to the dry sauna.

Business wise, they still survive during 2HA. 😶

I don't mind with the 😷mask on, safer.

Noticed peeps are more daring to un-draped when they mask up (mysterious).

I normally use the cloth material sure to get wet💦 but doesn't matter can wash.

It'll be lesser crowd, more space to enjoy the facilities...

& cafe closed till 9th Jan.

The crowd is visibly thinner with the mask on policy.

What’s your experience like with the mask on? How does anyone realistically enjoy the onsen esp the steam room?

Posted

Mask on would definitely Help people to get more daring to undrape freely.

I got my female friend to join me today.

Anyone will be there today Christmas 4-8pm?

27 Dec, 5pm-ish.
To the tanned guy in specs. U were dressed and seated at the locker area when I walked to my locker from the Onsen area. We exchanged glances when I re-entered the onsen area and u left. Would like to connect if u see this. Cheers

Is GSpa still opened?  The building looks very run down. I still have my credits there.
