Not really.. but probably more for safety check on patrons. Don’t see them come into the steamroom but just a peek outside the Glassdoor. At least from what I observed.

someone i knew who went today said they were entering the steam room every 15-20mins or so 😕

Suspect they received a complaint.. hence in a public place like this better to not let our small head below control the big head above. Whatever we do have to be discreet

Somehow only during evenings . When I went morning to afternoon they didn’t check. But when I went evening, the staff actually went into the steam room every now and then and they actually checking what we doing.

I think their group promotion ☝️ might have ended and replaced with the new 1 for 1 promotion that only starts in the evening. Not sure what's with the rave of this place anymore... The amount of weird creepy guys (young and old) in here today is so disturbingly high. Indiscreet cruising, unwanted eye contact, all the stalking behaviour after one single hot guy, and walking around with boners... Yucks! Could tell the hotties felt so uncomfortable after a brief chat with them. I left within an hour. 

 

Guys, this is a public straight place. Please respect the other patrons, who could be both gays and straights who just want to relax and not looking for fun!

I came to Onsen for a short visit a few years ago and enjoyed my experience. 
planning to come again soon but last time was the only white guy there. Lots of staring at me. Not sure if I’m welcome there?

 

also seemed pretty cruisey but not sure what can/ does happen there? Is there anywhere boys can play?

 

sorry was not there long and was not sure if the guys were happy or unhappy with me there.

people were probably admiring your body or equipment. haha 

i've seen many people from different nationalities and ethnicities there. as long as you observe the rules of the place and is not disturbing anyone, no one cares where you're from.

I think a lot of people don't realise that it's rude to stare, or they think they're being discreet when they look at someone else but they're really looking for longer than they think they are. I feel like part of it is that usually, people aren't naked around each other, so there's a "might as well take a look" thing going on when strangers are naked around each other. 

The main thing to be aware of is that sexual activity is not allowed, but of course, that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Just be respectful and discreet. Problems happen when people don't read the room or are pushy about things.

Ok. So it can happen. 
I thought that was a bit of the vibe when I was there. 
seemed to be lots of glances and a few deliberate touches in the steam room. Made me hard as a rock but unsure of the etiquette so tried to hide and think unsexy thoughts for my swelling to go down. Is there discreet places in there where the action takes place?
