Places In Se-asia To Stay For A Few Days

Hi!

I will be travelling back to Sg in Mid-March. I will be spending about 10 days but I think I can only tolerate the family for about 3 days max. I am thinking about visiting a beach resort in Thailand or Cambodia or anywhere else.

Can anyone recommend a place to go and a good hotel to stay in?

Stay as long as you want at Babylon Barracks or Takeanap. Shop till you drop. Pamper yourself with cheap massages and treatments. Feast on sumptous cuisines. And immerse yourself in the local culture.

If you get bored, Phuket/Patong will be a good base. Some great bargains as things get quiet but you'll still enjoy the dry cool weather. Don't go over the Easter holidays tho.

I've been to BKK a few times that's why I am thinking of skipping it and go to Phuket or somewhere else. As much as I enjoy BKK, since I am travelling by myself, I think I prefer going to a beach resort type of place where I don't really have to do much. Just relax, spa, catch up on reading.

yes if busget is not a problem, go chiva som in hua hin. i really enjoyed my trip there and came back totally relaxed and detoxed

or escape to Sentosa. There is suppose to be a 6 star resort opening soon. will come back on the name

Though I think I am pretty much on a budget for this short trip as I am going away longer in August travelling the trans-Siberian Express from Moscow to Ulan bataar.
