Coming from a very traditional Chinese family, I have over the past decade or so, tried opening up to my mum. Dropped hints here and there but I could never out myself to her. My sisters know and they too have tried to tell her subtly on many occasions. if only I could turn time back a good 10-15 years, and have more courage then to lay out everything on the table. Mum is in her 60s and her health isn't what it used to be so dropping a bomb this huge will probably send her to her grave. I don't think my mum is that stupid of a person, but I guess to her, as long as her son does not admit, it means that he isn't one. Though she loves to ask about my bf and if he'll be dropping by for dinner and other stuff about him.... Thank you for your sharing!
