LTR on Dating Apps

I guess it depends on the state in life the person is at. In uni, I don't really note a lot of people using Tinder, they kinda just meet during hall or school events/classes and it goes on from there. Then again I won't know that much as I don't use Tinder myself.

can try the Surge app from playstore.

Solely is for making friends, chat and dates.

Kinda like tinder where you swipe left and right. quite a decent amount of Singaporean guys, I would say

Decent means how many?indecent means how many?:yuk:

it is important to see what is it used for: tindr in jp is not  for sex or hook-ups/love (they don't find tindr superficial in jp but made very gd pals)

and I don't assume but have always asked for your backgrd/culture etc

I met my current bf on Jack'd. It wasn't love at first sight (I'll be the first to say he isn't very good looking), but I thought there's nothing to lose when he asked me out for dinner after chatting about common interests for some time.

He turned out to be a sincerely nice and considerate man with no hidden agendas whatsoever. It was also important that we both felt we could connect intellectually and complete the other person's character - he's the cool, composed, rational guy while I'm the passionate, emotional, knows-how-to-enjoy-life other half.

We've been together for more than 2 years now and still madly in love with each other.

And this is coming from someone who didn't believe in using dating apps to find dates. Haha.

Fun fact: Surge has a "share your feelings" feature where you'd pick a mood from a set list and the app sends out notifications to all those you're matched with. "I'm feeling horny" happens to be in that list.

So yeah. Surge is just as trashy as Tinder, if not more. I can't think of an online social platform where there won't be guys who just can't wait to invade your pants. The only difference is prolly the number of'em.

Does not happen to me ... i hit on ppl n no one reply my message ... Guess I must be hideous

Bro sometimes it takes time. Or could it be the way you're initiating the conversation? Many factors at play here.

Being hideous is quite far down that list. Don't give up!

You can try something more interesting after the "hi", like talk about common interests you noticed or about the latest news... etc.
