Also try the grilled stingray/butterfish. Lots of great food in Alor.. do your research.- Madam Kwans@KLCC or the new Pavillion mall, try the nasi bojari.- Starbucks outside KL Plaza at BB is VERY cruisy.- Best saunas are OTOT for younger guys and Kakiku for their crazy Sat night foam party. For chubs/daddies, try the saunas at Brickfields near Sentral eg Senses or Sentral Massage.- Fri night drinks at Frangipani with good mix of locals & GWMs. Sat night club @ La Queen for club kids. Blue Boys at bukit bintang is good if you like non-chinese. Also check listings to see if there is a circuit party on Sat night.- Booked your hotel yet? The Mandarin Oriental is luxurious and well located. Maybe I can do a birthday thing in KL...Besides New World/Renaissance which is where I will stay every time I go KL, where else is relatively nice and close to the main shopping areas and train stations? But the rooms are very 4-star and there are no cruisy gym/pool facilities.If you can afford it, the club floors in the Mandarin Oriental are legendary. Imagine indulging in the sky lounge with views of KL (ugh) along with your complimentary wines/drinks during happy hour. It is centrally located within walking distance to KLCC but away from the traffic mess at Bukit Bintang. The hotel has good facilities and the rooms in the "15" series are a good size.
