Cheapest Airway From Spore Or Malaysia To Japan

A group of some 7 people are visiting me from spore and/or malaysia, any idea which is the cheapest airway to use from spore or malaysia ? Timing is around early towards mid April 2008. Also what about the JR Railway pass, how much and is it worth it ? Thanks.

Northwest Airlines got promotion to Japan for Platinum UOB card new members.

888 for 2 (excl. tax) for low season (till May this yr) ...

Thanks. Will let them know it is NWest. I like NWest because the mileage never expires, unlike JAL.

DOM, you should get the team to check locally - not all prices are advertised on the net. You should probably check

1) SIA

2) MAS via KL

3) Thai via BKK

4) JAL via KL

5) Cathay via HK

6) Korean Air via Seoul

7) Eva Air via Taipei

I know that SIA can be quite competitive sometimes - they have 2 to go, 4 to go, etc - with each successive plan being slightly cheaper as more people are travelling.

Also, try some of the websites. One of them is the below - I think the price is SGD621 plus taxes for 4 to go on SIA. Some of the travel agents in Chinatown might get you better prices since you have 7 people travelling together.
