i do not like the lighting of the maze when i went on the nite of its preview. Everyone's face look like ghost from the horror movie due to the light shining from the floor. so has they changed it?

went to absolute last night, the stair case lightings have improved greatly, now there is proper lights without tripping the stairs yet dim enough to cruise a bit

the blue lights are now alternate so not so bright too

even the toilet lights on the fourth floor seem dimmer now

the crowd is fairly mix as usual does reminds me of the tc crowd last time

I was there with free preview entry.Following are my rating :-

• Staff friendliness - no smile at all
  
• Staff job knowledge - allow entry to guest even though no preview invitation
  
• Facilities- Only room but each with lube and toilet tissue supply, no chair or benches ,no sauna ,No internet or pc access,limited toilets,rock music
  
• Price - 30 days monthly unlimited entry pass selling at $162 which is very affordable and attractive
  
• Patrons- young plu crowd mostly

They had installed 2 big screen PC.

i heard from richard the manager that sofa sets are coming in for all the tv area thats y the place is left empty

for those worried that it will close down like ex tc then, please think lah, this kind of place the rental lease is like 2 to 3 years

now just open, buy their 30 days passe is the most worth it loh

It is quite a nice place... the rooms are quite big and comfortable.. i like the roof top cafe the most... airy, windy and comfortable.....

But I urge management of Aboslute to always maintain the whole place in tip-top condition so that we, the patrons, feel like home....

Well. i wud rate as nice meeting place for crusing and fun.There are total 4 levels.Level 1 is locker area,pc surfing area.modern open concept of shower room with a nice steam room.Level 2 and 3 are privare dark rooms area with erotic music.Each level are equiped with toilet.Level 4 is the bar counter garden for smoker and chit chat purposes.

For private rooms , each have fixed with mirror position at 45 degree to enhance your own fun pleasurable viewing.I think this is the highlight of Absolute.

Alot of friendly and nice well built guy too...

The offer for six passes at $68 was only on the grand opening day. After tat, six passes was at $108. Perhaps ABSOLUTE wish to attract more clients, the offer is up again from 6 to 10 Aug.

thanks for sharing this bit of info with us. i should have guessed by now TC never intended to honour its promise to make a comeback, not to mention the multiple-visit passes in-lieu of advance payment made. otherwise, ex-TC staff would have waited for the new place to start and not cross over to Absolute.

i fully understand that running a sauna is not easy and businesses come and go. i would rather they just fold and be absolute assholes than make empty promises & pretend to be all nice to their own kind.

in this regard, kudos to existing long-running saunas like 1-7, blue heaven, shogun, raw (though i reserve my comments about their state of affairs!) and relatively new players Y Club, 10men.

the latest is Absolute... whether it is here for the long haul, only time will tell... just like TC, it collects membership fees and try to sell multiple-visit passes and why not? it's a tidy sum of money to play around with. but the lifespan of any club will depend on whether the owners are prudent with their resources without compromising on hygiene, upkeep of its facilities and friendly customer service. not easy, especially in these times when costs are spiralling.

i can only say to absolute, do your best and try not to let us down.

and it would help if you tell your 'supporters' to back off with their unfriendly tone in the posts. there will always be critics, but it's better to win people over by listening to them and seeking to improve in areas in which you are lacking. if they are unreasonable, don't bother to reason with them cos they are not going to come back anyway.

I read it and seriously i felt this member leialuke who wrote the article below pointed out many logical and reasonable points.

I for sure know Absolute does not belong to ex towel club or fridae at all.

TC has been around for 4 years at least and like everyone says, we all knows it belong to fridae

If Absolute is ex TC………………….

1) do you think ex TC will rename themselves to Absolute after 4 years of branding? In any business model, it really makes no sense of throwing 4 years of marketing branding budget!

2) Since TC in HK is not doing well, do you think ex TC Singapore will rename themselves to Absolute and start all over again to market themselves? Or would they faster open the Singapore TC and earn as much money as possible to cover their TC HK losses?

3) do you think Absolute will bother to start a huge marketing budget to advertise the sauna at all the major gay clubs and pubs?

4) do you think Absolute need to give out fliers and collect mailing list all over again just before their preview and opening? The Absolute website also have place to collect email address.

5) do you think that if the owners of the major pubs and clubs who know the bosses of Absolute are really ex TC bosses, they will condone and support them of cheating fellow gay mates of their passes? I am sure they won’t support Absolute at all if it is really ex TC.

6) Absolute is definitely not ex TC, they do not have the mailing list data of ex TC, thus they have no idea who bought those passes and how many each of you guys left

7) do you think all your ex passes the amount are so huge that Absolute wants to cheat those money and face all these grouses?

8) How many of you really bought those passes? 100 to 200?

9) Base on the 6 visit passes at say $100, it only comes up to $20000 for 200 members. Since all of you know ex TC has 4 bosses, which means each ex TC boss ran away only $5000? If Absolute is ex TC, you mean they cannot afford to honour those passes?

10) Look at Absolute’s renovation and rental, do you think Absolute’s bosses will want to run away with just $5000 and keep lying to everyone they are not ex TC?

11) Richard aka manager and his staff obviously know who the Absolute bosses are. Do you think they will want to lie to the customers that Absolute is not ex TC and work in an environment where they will be scolded by you guys or get cursed on the streets?

12) If Absolute is really ex TC, they will cut all these above crap number 1 to 11 and save cost by just emailing all the members they have on their present company data list and start business immediately. It’s so simple and logical from any point of view!

Richard and his team came back to work for Absolute because the bosses of Absolute ask them to, simple as that.

Almost all the rooms were unused. Pathetic! What happened? i am very disappointed because I hope it will be like the TC's Wednesday nite which were always packed with many young cuties.

i suggest they really should do something about the lighting. it should be softer and make the ambience more erotic , just like those in hotel. By all means, pls do away with the irritating floor light in the dark area, it makes ppl really look like ghosts!

Basically I think they still have room for improvement.It may due to 7th lunar month which casued low patron in every sauna and not just Absolute.

The 3 level dark rooms should be abit dimmer.However I think the steam room is just nice for cruising.

They are having spearheading event Tag and Grab event on Friday,Brief Encounter on Saturday and Speedo on Sunday.

there r like 2 walls beyond the seating area, creating a little maze, there is even a window inside the steam room where it looks out to no where actually
