Guest Guest
In Azerbaijan, Central Baku is the most convenient place to stay. Staying in central Baku will make it easy to get to major attractions such as the Old Town, the waterfront, the central railway station and other architectural sights. As you may imagine, tourism in Saudi Arabia is in a very embryonic stage. I had this conversation with a local. They still don’t know that foreigners can now travel to Saudi Arabia. However, there is a relatively developed domestic tourism infrastructure, so you can find hotels pretty much everywhere, even though they tend to be expensive. Saudi Arabia is an incredible country which is filled with loads of stunning sites, both natural and archaeological, hugely contrasting landscapes and some extremely hospitable people. But be reminded, Saudi Arabia is the most religious country. In fact, this is the most religious Muslim country in the world. Everybody knows that. Lebanon is much safer than people think it is, not unlike many destinations in the Middle East. It feels peaceful. It feels normal. It feels quite a bit like traveling in the southern Balkans actually between the Mediterranean setting. One thing that sets Lebanon apart from more popular Middle Eastern destinations is that there’s much less travel infrastructure. What does that mean? There are hotels, but they’re more oriented toward business and domestic travelers. Transportation around the country is limited. There is essentially one company with that does day tours around the country. Lastly, they are conservative Muslim countries and offer no protections to LGBT people. Please respect local laws to travel safe. On 11/20/2019 at 9:30 AM, MeiLai said: Anyone been to above countries ?? if yes. pls share more information about your travel experience.
