Guest Forward
I feel so empty. Nothing to look forward to. Last time so eager to come back to work. Nowadays so opposite. Even life itself seems so empty. Wasted all the times on phone. Even go to gym also no motivation. For what go to gym, a question I ask myself. For what go to swim? Totally lost all interest in exercise. Now I typing this in a fitness corner. Instead of exercising, I just sit down n typing this before heading back to home. For what I live my life for? What is the purpose of life, honestly? I just feel it doesnt make sense to say ohh is to help people. It just doesnt seem concrete enough. Ohh, there is no purpose in life. We are just accidental springing from primordial soup n evolution. Just live with it until our last breath. I guess nobody knows. No one ever came back from life to tell us, or is it? Population is ever increasing. If the origin stock of souls are constant, where are the new population comes from? If I could get a hold of the wealth in the world, will my life be more fuller n fulliling? If I won the 5 millions toto, will my life wont be empty and wont be sitting here typing as if my questions will be answered? What are everyone thinking in their mind most of the times? Is it also like me wondering the wonders in our lives? How come I can see people so happy as they walk by me? How come I cant be like them, happy always in their face. I'm sure everyone got their worries but they are unfazed by it but I always live in dejection. When can I live a normal life again? Wish everyone a happy new year. But why do people celebrate it or go for countdown? 1st Jan is still the same old day, doing the same old things, thinking the same unanswered things, and wishing the same unfulfilled dreams. Guest You think can or not?
I look forward to cooking a healthy meal after a day of hard work. I don't have friend, not a single one. So very much on my own. I also have many things at home to touch up, I am a decor person and love to be surrounded by good things which I bought from internet. I also have a blog where I write my stories, the daily things and I listened to radio - religious sermon. Than I ended up having a brief prayer and than head to this forum to see what is happening before heading to bed with a good book. That is the daily thing. Weekend is a different stories. I will go market stock up healthy food - mostly vegetables and fruits and write up a recipe for the week. Sometime, I will also do brief window shopping (mostly ikea and daiso) or online shopping, to see what catches my attention. Evening, I will go for a jog before dinner. After dinner will browse youtube for some inspirations videos before heading out to nearby kopi tiam for a hot coco and ponder into the night before a deep cleasning shower. So ya. Cruising days are over for me. I am no longer interested in tolet-standing men unlike in the past when I used to cruise extensively. Currently, more health conscious and staying clean so that "dirty" thing will avoid you when you are alone............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................hmmm....so what else? There are endless things to do and I don't think there will be enough spaces to write them all out. Besides, I am constantly packing and unpacking my decor items so that each week everything will look different than the last and you won't feel so bored staying at home. Besides, I don't spend a lot of money, Than I will write my story on the blog, what I did for the day or what happened outside - a giant squirrel ran across my path...something like-dat. lonelyglobe
To be honest, life is meaningless, the day u r born u are going towards old, sick and death , none of which u can escape.... but we don't have a choice, we are not talking about commit suicide so we can only go and try to find a meaning, some found it in love, some in religion, others in their career etc... Even if can't find, just enjoy whatever u have in this one life.
fab
The purpose of life is not to have lives again. Siddhartha Gautama had come back to tell (teach actually) us. Ziqzac
I used to feel this way alot. Nowadays here and there ill feel this way too. I guess one solution is to go out there and forge new friendships. Push yourself out of your boundaries. Make new friends and explore the world. Ive made it a monthly challenge to travel at least once a month. When i travel, i get to see the beauty of nature and the world out there. Theres a lot to live for and explore. Life can seem quite boring doing the same stuffs over again. While you may have the chance to explore the world, some less fortunate people out there arent able to. Steve5380
I am retired, so I don't have a formal work to schedule into my time. My days are repetitive, I don't even feel much difference between work days and weekend. I have a list of activities that can fill my day. But I lack the discipline to stay with my schedule. So when night comes I have not achieved what I should achieve. It may sound strange, but even being retired the days don't have enough hours for me. Much of my time I spend doing interesting things but not the ones I have scheduled. My main resolution for the future is to eliminate all superfluous activities (like writing this post) and stick to my objectives. Now on new year I have an opportunity to make this resolution stick, but it is a moving goal. I should get depressed over this, but I don't give up pursuing the goal. This keeps my worthless life going, but I find enough happiness in it that I don't mind

I need some evidence and some reasonable justification for such a belief. Where is a clue that LIFE is a necessary process to cleanse? Why is there something in us that need cleansing? And why, if cleansing is completed, LIFE should disappear?
doncoin
We all have those days where everything feels meaningless. What helped me a lot is my dog. He is adopted. So his wellbeing depends entirely on me. Even on days I feel like crap, I still have to push myself to ensure he has his walk, he is fed, he receives attention etc. Well, if life seems meaningless, through my dog, I have learnt to put meaning into it. In the wise words of Madonna, "Life is a mystery. Everyone must stand alone... I hear you call my name and it feels like home." 😐 Edited December 31, 2019 by doncoin itsjustjay 1 Quote Love. Everything is too easy that makes u feel like no motivation. My 2 cent advice to you, travel to the poor countries, experience ur trip like a local, don't stay in hotel, talk to local people there, follow them to their work, work with them,... you will understand. or, go to nature, play a sport u never done b4, go hiking to see the beautiful world. Guest What do you think?
I yearned to be alone. I look forward to having a "ME TIME" after work. I switched off my handphone, warned my colleagues never to interrupt me after work. I won't even want to bring work home. Peace and Quietness is human ultimately luxury. Loneseome has never and will never be my fear. It is not part of my dictionary to feel fearful of what I love (to be alone). So you people. If you are fearful and feeling lonesome, unaccomplished and unsatisfied, then human life is not for you. Than find something interesting for yourself, like making a porn video and put them on the internet for people like me to enjoy in the quietness of my own home. What is life actually? Hi Happy 2020. Check out some of Leo Buscaglia quotes about life. Some of them actually helped me think outside of my perimeters a bit occasionally. Perhaps his quotes may inspire you in some ways too ! You are not alone in this search for life’s meaning. Most people aren’t sure either. Just that most are likely following str8 life’s script of settling down start family build careers buy house so on and so forth so as to support kids etc. Freed from all of these matrimonial/parental duties common to most str8s, Gays are harshly positioned on earth to peer into this tough question of what life means, simply because all duties are stripped away from us and there’s really nothing much else to do ... With such boredom it’s no surprise many of us turn to material joys, sexual escapades, etc. just to keep our senses alive and working, or risk turning into walking aimless zombies. I am searching for meaning too and honestly I am no where near where I prefer to be. Anyway, may 2020 be a wonderful year to be healthier and more curious and more insightful in our search for our meaning/happiness/value in our very short life. Happy Healthful 2020 LGBTI folks !! ☀️🙏🎈 Edited January 1, 2020 by Pubic01 Derren
Guest Guest
Most of us do not know what is the meaning of life. Religions offer to help us understand the meaning. It does give them a sense of purpose. But it does not mean what they believe is true (sorry to those in a religion). But for those of us who doesn't believe in religion, we can only find our way to live our lives as best we can. Maybe our sole purpose in life is to survive and fight against the odds. Those whom are in war torn countries often spend most of their time just surviving desperately, but why? For us who are living in a peaceful country where all we have to do is to go to work everyday, why do we find it difficult to fight to survive. Perhaps when things come easily, it's also easier to throw it away? Food for thought, perhaps we should be grateful and find ways to live this life as best we can. PhallusKnight
Going home to see my family, play and chat with my online gaming buddies, read a new book, learn a new fact and expand my understanding of the universe, play with my cat, looking out of my window and see the raindrops fall, check and see how my stocks are doing, plan my next vacation, edging and see how long I can last this time haha...Life is full of little things and people to look forward to, you just need to open yourself to the possibilities. I read this in a book many years ago and for some reason it stuck with me even after a decade...in the words of Mercedes Lackey: “The great love is gone. There are still little loves - friend to friend, brother to sister, student to teacher. Derren
You are grappling with the age old existential question. No quick answers. We all have to make our personal choices. You can go on a spiritual quest, you could discover/create your life mission. Or you can just continue on as you have been, and try to distract/soothe yourself along the way. The only certainty is that this life comes to an end. At least the existential pain won't last indefinitely.

But why do people celebrate it or go for countdown? 1st Jan is still the same old day, doing the same old things, thinking the same unanswered things, and wishing the same unfulfilled dreams. What is life actually? About a year later, and after having read other peoples’ contributions, I’m wondering how you are now? kiloKilo
I have many hobbies to keep myself happy. I use to spend most of my evening working out my body but I don't feel satisfied or happy for putting so much effort in something I don't enjoy. Now I use most of my free time doing what I really wanna do, such as rock carving, playing a musical instrument, watch anime, cooking etc. Occasionally go out walk walk 🚶♂️and when feeling frisky will jerk off before bed 😁. renoma1069
practease
The minute I'm done with work, I'll nonchalantly slip out paper effigies of my toxic colleagues, sit on a mini three legged stool, one hand holding a thick wooden clog and start hammering away at each and every one of them with much conviction, mouthing out a series of cuss and curse words wishing they'd cease to exist.
