Steve5380
It is nice to have a garden or just some vegetation outside your window to look at. It is nice to have this garden private, where you can go and sunbathe nude without attracting to many stares. I assume that in SG gardens are not so big that you wish you don't have them because it's so much work to cut the grass

You can actually rent small land near Bah Soon Pah area to grow your herbal garden and vegetables as part of your retirement hobby and then sell those dired herbs online. I know of some retired teachers did that. They shared the rent among themselves and stocked up empty container to collect dried herbs in their garden. I bought a container of peppermint from them. These group of retired stayed inside their make-shift shed, drink kopi, listen to music and chit chat.

I know there is one 3 room flat in hougang where kitchen is extended to an enclosed backyard with a backdoor gate. You can keep live chickens there to roam about. repressednerd
When I first saw this topic, I thought it was going to be about Malaysian real estate. I was surprised some developers are still coming up with strata landed housing in Singapore though.

Is a 3-room HDB ground floor unit. I still can remember the layout quite vividly when I first time scout for resale flat together with my agent. Those days, 3-Rm HDB is easily below $180K.
