Here's how I do it: I will shop at Sheng Siong Hypermarket whenever possible. I see savings of 5-22% for my purchase compared to NTUC Fairprice. As for personal lubricant(KY, Top-Gel) & condoms, I will go to JB's City Square, Watson/Guardian which are almost half of our local price. Whenever possible, I will visit a sauna at the non-peak hour to enjoy lower entrance fees. On the investment front, our banks and CPF boards pay miserable rates. I choose to park my funds at good SGX counter eg REIT. When I am bored and low in cash, I will stick with the chat room which is my cheapest form of entertainment. What about you? And if the online shopping platforms dare send you rotten fruits, snap a picture of them and paste it in their reviews. NTUC is notorious for trying to package rotten or rotting fruits into those pre-packaged bundles, eg one pack of 5 oranges etc, and then hiding the rotten portion from plain view in the package. And you cannot do anything about it since you selected the pack yourself, and you cannot blame anyone for your own selection. Rather than having half the eggs go to waste, we split them. This helps with stretching the dollar for me for groceries. Another way i stretch my dollar is since I have gigabit internet at home, I share it with my neighbour.
