Hainan Travel Info Needed! Help!

I am planning a trip to Hainan next month to include stays at Haikou, Boao, Sanya and maybe Tongzha.

Anyone familiar with Hainan? Been there? Done that? can advise on Places to stay, places to makan, etc...

I would like to know too if anyone has info. Been to Haikou a few times but did not manage to find anything. Some places mentioned in some websites are either closed or not really gay.
