adryan Posted February 1 Posted February 1 roger tt @K_W on e tips box, tt was a gd idea... well, in sg, we don have e tip culture, so giving tips felt a bit weird loh, paiseh if seen by others mah... anyway, will look out 4 e box, lol. yes, i noe abt e credit package promo, will ask thru whatsapp (where i got e 1st-timer promo), hopefully can pay on site, as i don like paying thru some link, since package is now more expensive... am considering, as it isnt cheap when i just spend a short few hrs (i think going thr to sleep/rest a bit wasted, but also cannot soak tt many hrs...), lol Quote
K_W Posted February 15 Posted February 15 GSpa closed for 3 days. Those staying overnight today need to leave by 8am tomorrow. In case people no place to go during CNY and thinking of dropping by, better take note. Btw, Happy CNY in advance, Everyone. Buffedbear 1 Quote

I very much welcome them, as they do not wear shorts to soak. I hope the herbal chicken looks good, the chicken dish is always my highlight, as the other dishes are always carbo-heavy. Cannot conclude like that. Haha. I just find that most Korean their English not that fluent (may not apply nowadays), can be quite difficult to communicate with. Ended short sentences, short conversations. In that sense, hard to click. But there's once I went Korea to meet some Korean customers, and they can be very wild and they drink a lot. Easier to break language barrier by having dinner and drinks with them. Quote

K_W Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Think I saw GSPA now got some Stay overnight promotion. 11pm to 1pm at $49, something like that. For those that like to stay overnight, this might be something you like? Before go down, better to call to confirm the details. I just happened to see this at their front counter, but not on their website. Fyi. Quote

The main kitchen stops its service at 10:15PM and starts at noon. A patron on this package could still enjoy a hot prepared meal from noon time. Maybe some action at the steam room too? Lol. Though I've never seen that at night, since I too am already asleep by 11PM. Quote

How s the shower areas hot pool is hot, so you are encouraged to sit on the edge more often cold pool is batshit cold dry sauna is of suitable temperature steam room is very hot, but I love how they give us iced towels and iced cucumber drinks just outside. My favourite part of GSpa 12PM - 10:15PM - decent selection of cooked food, on par with hawker food, dessers 24 hrs - snacks like siew mai, lor mai kai, assortment of non-alcoholic drinks, fruits, sandwiches Comfortable sleeping areas (recliner chairs), but you should bring eye covers and especially ear plugs - people like me snore. Eye candy - low % of hunks. Main clientele is local or maybe Chinese/Korean uncles Bird watching - low. The pools have signs to put on the black shorts, though I think it's meant "wear the black shorts instead of the beige lounge shorts". Many of these men are not actually shy, they dont mind stripping off in the open to walk to the showers/lockers - but wearing the black shorts to soak is already so commonplace. Sexual activity - close to zero Buffedbear 1 Quote

kingbitch Posted March 18 Posted March 18 (edited) 3 hours ago, Anon_cock said: question how do u know who is gay and who is straight when go to this kind of hetero spa? It's all guesswork/statistics - How the eyes rove around. if an attractive guy walks around, does he take a look? Straight guys usually won't even notice. If a guy enters the room or emerges from the pool naked, straight guys usually don't WANT to look at the dick. - No one soaks THAT long. It's too hot. It's too boring to soak alone. Straight guys usually soak long in the presence of their friends/family. Some straight guys really soak long for the therapeutic benefits - hot/cold alternates, or longer periods in the dry sauna (unlike the steam room, the dry sauna in G Spa is absolutely off limits for any action) - Physique. There is typically a difference between the gay muscular gym physique and the sports-fit physique that fit straight guys have. - Nudity. I'm not sure about this one, this is what my friends tell me. Straight guys are either comfortable with nudity, or are prudish about it, it's either/or. Gay guys are conscious about their own nudity and sometimes make an effort to cover up a bit, but they are also open about their nudity when someone who interests them is nearby. I said it's guesswork, because I have been wrong multiple times. - this guy in GSpa, very confident, very hung cock. Body was decent but not the gym fit type. Deep masculine Singaporean voice. Chatted with me briefly in the steam room "wow this room is hot". I was pretty convinced he was straight, friendly, and just really liked to soak for long periods. I later described to an acquaintance, who revealed the hung cock guy was a gay regular all along. - this guy in House+Bubble, gym fit, quite cute, alone, friendly, walks around naked, chatted me up in the sauna... after that introduced me to his wife and kid in the buffet area. - this guy in House+Bubble, I thought was a buff tanned muscular masculine guy from PRC, turns out he is a regular poster on these forums hahahahahha Edited March 18 by kingbitch Buffedbear 1 Quote

kingbitch Posted April 15 Posted April 15 My personal observation, our Indian Singaporean brethren are even more prudish then the Chinese Singaporeans. I don't see many of them in the four onsens/spas. A decade ago, at the public pool showers, a young (~7) boy was about to strip in the open area, then his Indian Singaporean dad chided him "eh, use the cubicle to change, you think you Chinese?" It was just one anecdote but perhaps it represents the overall culture/mindset. Hinduism and Buddhism generally frown upon nudity, even among the same gender (from my chats with Indian nationals, as well as Thais). Quote
