bearlover Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Has anyone tried zuji.com.sg to book a flight? I'm thinking of doing so but I believe there was some negative publicity recently. Also, not sure if the flight awards frequent flyer miles. Sent a request but they forwarded me the FAQ which didn't help much. Quote
TopChinese Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Think of Zuji as an online travel agent. Without the fuss and the hardsell. I've booked many happy SIN-BKK trips from Zuji... they have some amazing promos there. Always check to confirm that the fares are mileage accruable. Usually the cheapest fares or the 2/4 to go fares are not. Quote

The fare they're advertising is less than the airline website's cheapest fare so I'm not sure if it accrues points. Quote

gpfun Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 To check whether the fare is mileage accrual, you will need to give a call to Zuji hotline. Quote them the airlines that you are selecting and the fare booking class (e.g. Booking Class "Q"). Then check with your airlines that you have signed up Frequent Flyer Programme with to check if that fare allows you to accrue mileage. For example, if you are booked on "Q" class on Thai Airways, you will be able to accrue mileage to SQ KrisFlyer. However, if you are booked on "Q" class on SQ flights, you will not be eligible to earn mileage on KrisFlyer Programme. As you can see, different booking class on different airlines will dictate if you can earn mileage points. Maybe you can share with me the FFP programme that you have signed up with and the airline that you are taking so that I can provide some info on that. Hope this helps. Quote

Zuji does not tell you which fare class you are booking until only after you've paid for the ticket. Happily, the cheap fare on United Airlines accrues FF points on krisflyer. Quote
