Does anyone have been possessed or ever witnessed someone possessed?

Does anyone here believe they have been possessed or ever witnessed someone possessed?? I'd like to hear your stories

I had a volunteer work in Bandung a decade ago and lived there for quite sometime. I was living in a hut together with the locals. Ome time a boy seems to be having convulsion of some sort and he was so strong that he had to be held by 3 men. He was shouting with different language. They called the tribe priest and he performed encantation to the boy. He relaxed and didn't know what happened. That was the closet encounter that I had with supernatural so far.

A person becoming possessed is not supernatural.  It happens in humanity and it is one of the secrets of our mind.  Hypnosis is is also a secret phenomenon that so far has only a a vague reference:  "altered state".   Yet it is quite common.   A tribe priest may have the knowledge to deal with possessions,  like a hypnotist can deal with those who are susceptible to be hypnotized.  But everyone has a right to freely believe in ghosts!

I attended a music playing in the Tamil temple at South Bridge Road at one evening when out of the sudden plenty of people started falling into a coma and were shaking their bodies strangely and relatives or temple staff pulled their arms or gave them slaps to the body until they woke up from their "coma". 

I had never seen anything like this before and felt this was bizarre to happen in the 21st century.

this is what we call 靈動 .. people whose chakras are sensitive to energy variances but who have not done any kind of training will go into a trance-like state. it happens in mass 法會 where there's invitation of higher ups or mass recitation of sutras. 

 

on my side line many years ago.. a 6 year old chinese girl suddenly started speaking tamil and fluent hokkien, to the horror of their parents and grand parents. Then say want eat curry and then makan with her hand. LOL

 

turned out she was possessed by an indian ghost whom they later actually did a full liberation for, and the little girl returned to normal very quickly after.

Was wondering , if the dogs died , will they become attached to me, do animals and pets become wandering spirits.

Years ago I was at this private designer sale with a friend. My friend who is usually quite a nice person, laid back and chill type became possessed when he saw the discounts- slashed up to 70% for some items. This guy who do not usually go after designer stuff behaved like another person. Had a shouting match with another person over a sweater, it was the last one, and turned into this demanding bitch. He was impossible to deal with and literally maxed out his credit cards. Granted a Tom Ford suit for under $1k was a steal.

I was counselling a client who was suffering from split personality and believed that his other half is a seductive lady who loves to have sex with men and then stab them with a knife when they are climaxing.  It all sounded so bizarre.  At one of the sessions, he suddenly became possessed and started talking and cursing me in a high-pitched woman's voice.  I took my rosary (which has a crucifix) and showed him and commanded him to calm down.  He then laid on the floor and slid towards a corner of the conselling room like a snake and curled up there.  After a while he awoke from the stupor and asked me what happened as his face and body were covered in sweat.

I would say that you are still ignorant on Aaian folklores. I'd seen several people who were possessed by demons. They usual live in rural areas. I saw one possesed person floated in the air. An exorcism group exists to handle that kind of situations.

If you saw one possessed person floating in the air, then...  then YOU were possessed.

Yes, long ago during basic military training.

 

All of us recruits wre sitting in the bunk. Suddenly one guy got up and started to gesture  about violently. The Hokkien pengs seem to catch on quickly that he was possessed and sought to restrain him. 

 

I think he was possessed by a few deities as he changed characters, movements and voices. He was quite strong and the few boys were having a hard time holding him down. Eventually the spirits left and he was very tired and could not move.

 

I could feel their presence as though someone invisible is walking past.

 

Later there was talk that this posessed recruit worked as a temple medium.
